Hallam Kalora Park is poised to move to the fringe of the top four after a strong showing against second-placed Narre Warren in the Dandenong District Cricket Association turf 1 competition on Saturday.

Hallam Kalora Park made 260 with Leigh Booth 84 not out and Cory Booth 51. A win would push Hallam Kalora Park within reach of fifth-placed Berwick and fourth-placed Springvale South.

Berwick was 3-40 in its attempt to chase down Buckley Ridges' 124. Ash Henry took 6-33 for the Wickers.

Top side Doveton amassed 9-293 against Springvale South. North Dandenong made 6-258 declared and had Keysborough at 1-4.

Heinz Southern Districts made 8-227 against Dandenong West and Parkfield is in a strong position against Mordialloc, making 194 and then having the visitors 1-0 at stumps.
