06 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
TOORADIN recorded an impressive outright win over Beaconsfield in West Gippsland Cricket Association action at Perc Allison Oval on Saturday.

After dismissing Beaconsfield for 111 in week one, Tooradin set about setting Beaconsfield a tough run chase to avoid an outright defeat.

Tooradin was eventually dismissed for 198 with Brad Sauer contributing 66 and Jay Wilson 44.

Beaconsfield was then dismissed for 77 with only Jordan Andrews (26) reaching double figures.

Callum O'Hare was the star with the ball for Tooradin, snaring 6-37 to tear the Beaconsfield batting line-up apart.

Upper Beaconsfield defeated Officer outright after rolling it for 52 in its second innings. Daniel Brennan and Xavier Gargan took three wickets each.

Cardinia's 251 wasn't enough against Kooweerup with Chris O'Hara making 92 at the top of the order in the run chase and Chris Bright contributing 82 in its 8-261.

Pakenham chased down Pakenham Upper-Toomuc's 255. Jason Williams hit 139 with 18 fours and four sixes for the victors.
