Tip plans still up in air

The future use of the transfer station in Cemetery Road, Cranbourne, which closed last month, is still up in the air.

Casey Council's manager of waste and recycling Michael Jansen said the Cranbourne Development Plan suggested several options once the site was rehabilitated.

Cranbourne North resident Michael Selesenew has proposed turning the site into a carbon sink and public park.
