AS part of a council move to promote housing diversity, Casey residents have been asked what sort of homes would suit their lifestyle.

The council is also reviewing its policy on shared or group housing options, such as rooming houses, emergency and crisis housing, student housing and hostels.

The Casey housing diversity statement, adopted by the council last year, notes that students, singles, young couples, single parents, empty nesters, retirees and elderly people are poorly catered for with the current housing stock. Residents can fill in the housing choice survey at casey.vic.gov.au/ housing or call customer service on 9705 5200.
